What the Training Is
This Asbestos Awareness course is designed to give delegates a clear understanding of the risks associated with asbestos and the practical steps required to avoid disturbing it.
The course is suitable for anyone who may encounter asbestos during their work, including contractors, maintenance staff, tradespeople, supervisors and duty holders.
During the half-day session, delegates will cover:
The course focuses on awareness and risk prevention. It does not qualify delegates to work with or remove asbestos-containing materials.
Training can be delivered in our Cullompton training room or remotely online. Many clients choose to combine this course with one or two additional awareness courses to create a full day of training.

- The health risks associated with exposure
- Where asbestos is commonly found in buildings
- The legal responsibilities under current UK regulations
- How to avoid the risks of asbestos exposure
- Emergency procedures if asbestos is accidentally disturbed
