Site Supervisors’ Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) Site Safety Plus
The SSSTS is a 2 day course held at the WTC Training Centre which introduces current and future Site Supervisors to their legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. The United Kingdom Contractors Group (UKCG) recognises this course as meeting the required standard for all managers working on UKCG sites.

Day 1 • Health and safety law • Developing a health and safety management system • Occupational health • Fire prevention and control • Risk assessments & method statements • Hazardous substances • Role of the Supervisor |
Day 2 • Construction (Design and Management) Regulations • Working at height • Personal protective equipment • Manual handling • Accidents and first aid • How to deliver toolbox talks • Examination |
Assessment and Exams:
This interactive course makes use of case studies, class discussion, individual and group work and assessed by multiple choice test which after successful completion delegates will be awarded with a CITB certificate which will be renewable every 5 years by attending a CITB approved 1 day refresher course.

Course Fee £198.00 plus VAT
Including tuition, course materials, assessment, certification, lunch and refreshments on each tutored day. An initial deposit of £50 is required and the balance is to be settled on or before the final day of the course.
