​​​Hospitality Health and Safety

​By way of example, we were invited to a hotel to audit their existing health and safety systems.  Over the years some members of their own staff added to the system by developing Risk Assessments etc but it was identified early on that they were insufficient and there were fundamental failings, leaving staff and guests at risk.  We quickly identified the failings, implemented systems to monitor issues like Legionella, Asbestos training, Risk Assessments for all activities, and supported the implementation of Control Measures. They now have a great Health and Safety Management System that they can rely on.

​For many years now ‘Health and Safety Practitioners’ have been providing so called support to the manufacturing industry with little to no  practical experience themselves.  For example, Practitioners with no experience themselves have rendered lathes, mills, presses and alike  useless through impractical, over the top guarding. 
​We have over 40 years experience in manufacturing industries, and appreciate the demands and necessity for useable machinery that is safe to use.

​We were fortunate enough to be invited to work alongside a wholesale company operating out of two 30,000 sq.ft units storing a wide range of toys and related items.  Where some might find the challenge of implementing a sound health and safety management system daunting, we methodically divided up the workload amongst the right members of our team, and set about designing, and supporting the implementation of sound storage, for example, racking requirements, traffic management, visitor arrangements, fire risk assessment and emergency plan, safe systems of work, policies amongst so much more.
